The kicheche mara camp attracts an abundance of wildlife and boasts the highest concentration of giraffes in the Greater Masai Mara. Carefully managed by the local community, the Naboisho Conservancy is home to many of Africa’s ‘Big Five,’ including big cats, elephants, and other magnificent mammals. Thanks to its surroundings, Kicheche Valley Camp also hosts a variety of rare birds, such as bush pipits, northern white-crowned shrikes, pygmy falcons, and white-headed buffalo weavers, making it a haven for bird enthusiasts.

Kicheche Valley Camp accommodates a select number of guests with just six luxurious tents to choose from. There is also a lounge with a small table and sofa for relaxing.

The camp’s communal spaces are equally enchanting, with a luxurious lounge overlooking the natural spring and a dining area where guests savor homemade meals throughout the day and night. Positioned on a terrace within a spacious tent, each area within the camp is characterized by open viewing plains and adorned with traditional, ornate wooden furnishings and classic animal-print accents.

An incredible experience in a secluded 6-tent safari camp nestled in a stunning conservancy in the Mara teeming with wildlife. The conservancy is home to a 43-member lion pride and hosts large herds of buffalo, wildebeest, zebra, giraffe, and several leopards.

Kicheche Valley Camp is exceptional. With only 6 tents, each spaced apart for privacy, it offers an authentic safari atmosphere. We often had wildlife such as zebra, wildebeest, cape buffalo, and giraffe near our tent. The tents themselves are spacious and impressive.
